Client Case Study: Do this One Thing to Optimise your Content in 7 Days

Content is and will always be the undisputed Queen of digital marketing. It's how we engage, build, and convert our audiences, especially in a climate where ads are becoming increasingly expensive.

I recently coached a client who was struggling with her Instagram growth and conversions. Through a strategic use of AI and a well-planned content calendar, she not only saw a spike in engagement but also started having fun with her content again and most importantly, saw a sales increase because of it.

Imagine seeing a spike in viewers up to 6000 and converting two clients that same day. Well, that’s what happened to Harriet and in today’s episode of The Magnetic Woman Podcast, I’m sharing how she did it.

Ready to discover how AI can take your content creation to the next level? Tune into this episode to hear:

  • How AI can streamline your content creation process and why you should integrate it into your strategy.

  • Overcoming the mental blocks that hold you back from fully engaging with social media

  • A guide to drafting, scheduling, and posting content that resonates with your audience.

  • The importance of tracking your data to refine your content approach and amplify your results.

Hello. Hello. Hello. And welcome to this episode of the Magnetic Woman Podcast. I am sharing with you the one thing you can do today, and this week, to optimise your content.

Now, we know content will always be Queen and King because it is an easy way for us to:

a) communicate to our audiences

b) build our audiences, and

c) convert our audiences,

especially in the current climate where ads just hands down are more expensive.

Real truth, absolutely, we use ads in the business, here and there. I advise that all of my clients use ads in their businesses. However, we always anchor into it, into what we are doing organically as well to support the scalability of the business.

This episode came from a training that I did in the House of Paloma Mastermind. So, we have The Expansion Accelerator for female entrepreneurs wanting to scale to the six figure mark, and then Expand to 7 for those who are at the six figure mark, or approaching, and want to hit multi six into seven.

I did a training on how I was using AI as a tool to support my content creation. So, I'm gonna share a little bit about what I shared in this hours training, but reference a couple of clients and how it has supported them to see results in their businesses.

The one thing you might be asking is:

How to use AI to support your content creation

and in line with that one thing, it's also to just go do the thing. And I'm going to explain why. I'm going to explain why in relation to a particular client.

So, this particular client was not seeing growth on her Instagram. She wasn't seeing conversions through her Instagram. And a big piece of the conversation we had was around her wanting to make a sound, be the thought leader, say all the things that she wanted to say about the beauty industry.

We worked firstly on her mindset, because there was a part of her that didn't want to play the Instagram game. She wanted to always be saying big things, big topics, juicy subjects, going deep. I supported her to see that that was still relevant for her and for her business.

But that particular piece was why we are together working on a book deal. And so if we're using that piece, that part of you, that thought leadership there - is it really safe for you to just go play the game on social media?

Her preferred platform is Instagram. She was like, ‘Yeah, okay, I get it. I get that I don't always need to be writing the deep posts.’ - Correct.

And so knowing that her objective was to grow her Instagram and also see more conversions from her Instagram, we worked on what I'm about to share with you in terms of how to optimise how you're using AI.

And then we set a thirty day plan. And I said to her, write your captions first. Write all of your captions. You know, we've mapped out your content pillars. Go write your captions, then go create the content. Then you have all the assets that you need to schedule, or to post in real time for the next thirty days. Can you do that? She was like, absolutely.

And the result that she saw within two weeks of posting reels, I would say probably three a week, was this:

  • One reel had six thousand views, of which she had two people book immediately.

  • She has seen an increase in sales.

  • And, most importantly, she's having fun doing it. Okay? It's always got to be fun.

So problem was no conversions, not seeing growth.

Solution, mindset, using AI to support her, batch creating her content, writing the caption first, and by that I mean the caption that you see on her grid, bringing her personality through and creating a clear call to action.

And then the result, increased bookings, increased growth, and having fun doing it.

This is really important. If you are creating content and you are not seeing conversions through your content, you are not seeing growth through your content - There is a problem. And the solution isn't more content. The solution is 100% not more content. The solution is finding a new way to create content with themes and pillars. And the way in which you're creating that content, the assets that you're creating that will actually start to speak to your ideal client.

So, let me talk you through how you can do this.

The first thing I want you to note is when you are using AI (and we use chatgpt.com), you can go down to your name on the bottom left side and go to customise ChatGPT. Okay? If you want a much more personalised response and a response that's more optimised towards actually the results that you want to see, you have got to give ChatGPT custom instructions.

So, when you go down to your name on the bottom left hand side and go to Customise ChatGPT, you can add in some custom instructions.

The first question is - what would you like ChatGPT to know about you to provide better responses?, of which you add in who you are, who you serve, what your content pillars are etcetera, and then how would you like ChatGPT to respond? So how do you want the voice to sound? Do you want the ChatGPT to act as if it's part of your team? What do they call you? And how would you like to see that content or response being delivered? So, for example, for me, I love tables and graphs because it just really helps me to absorb that information.

So first of all, you want to do that.

And then you want to think about your content pillars. This is really important. Without that, it can be harder. I wouldn't say it it's harder, but it can be harder for you to actually really know what is the content that you're sharing, and why. So my content pillars, for example, are day in the life, behind the scenes, business marketing, messaging, strategy, spirituality, energetics and female entrepreneurship. Some of these stay in the same category. So spirituality and energetics I see as one, for example. A day in the life, behind the scenes is kind of lifestyle.

So first of all, think about content pillars. Okay? What is it that you are sharing through that social media platform (whether that's Instagram, LinkedIn, etcetera)?

Then you can create. First of all, I would actually allow AI to, as a social media strategist, analyse the content themes that it currently sees on your Instagram. So you can say:

‘As a Social Media Strategist, analyse the content themes you see on [INSTAGRAM URL]’.

That's actually going to show you what you might be seen as by your audience. What your audience is seeing, you almost get a response of that.

And that's gonna help you then think about, actually, of this, which do I want to optimise? Which do I want to no longer use? What feels true for me? What does not?

Then, there are various ways that you can do this.

You can create a prompt which ultimately requests and asks AI ChatGPT to generate a thirty day content plan or strategy.

So, you wanna think about your objective. I'm gonna give you an example - ‘how to grow your audience’. But you could, you know, ‘help me build my engagement’, ‘help me increase my sales’. Yeah?

So really, you wanna give it a really firm instruction.

I think this is where people really get lost with ChatGPT or AI.

They're actually not feeding it enough information to get the right result.

We have various different prompts within our trainings in my Masterminds, because of course, you wanna start playing with it and then making it work for you.

But an example, let's say, would be:

‘Hey, ChatGPT. Please can you generate a thirty day content strategy to help me grow my Instagram following by 10,000 dream followers in the next 3 - 6 months. My Instagram is about Business Strategy, Marketing and enegetics, and I offer high value content focused on scaling business to six and multi-six figures, for entrepreneurs, creatives and conscious and ambitious women. My content pillars are [INSERT], and it would be great if you could provide this in a table for the following thirty days.’

Boom.

Then, of course, you're gonna get your response, of which you get to start going back and saying,

‘I don't really like these ideas. Could you take those out and replace them with something that's more like this?’

Or you might say,

‘I really, really love ideas 1 - 10, could you create another ten of those ideas based on the ideas of those 1-10?’

Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

So, you're starting to really use AI as a tool, but also, see it as a working relationship. If someone on my team did something and I didn't like it, I wouldn’t just say, ‘oh, okay’, I'd say, ‘Hey, Philea, you know, you did this thing, and I think it's really great. However, I think it could be better if we did this if we did [XYZ]’. You know?

And then that person knows how they can optimise it to make me get a better result from it and so forth.

So, there you have your AI prompt of which you will get your table.

And then what I would personally do from there is, I would copy and paste that table into a Google Doc, and then from there, you know the content that you need to create.

So, the way that we do this is we then often will amend the caption, we will look at the asset copy, and we'll make some amendments to that to make it way more House of Paloma, way more me.

And then I create another column, which is what to film. So I think based on the idea of that piece of content, that reel, for example, what are the assets that I'm going to need? And then out of those assets, I will then film the assets that I need. Pretty much I will do that in one day.

This is typically something that we do once a month, where we plan out the thirty days, we write the content for the thirty days, we film the thirty days, and then I have that thirty day amount of content ready for me for the following month.

You might be thinking at this point, ‘Ugh, ChatGPT is not going to sound like me’. It won't. It won't get your voice spot on. I have a Copy Clinic for my clients every other week, and I always, always, always know when it's a ChatGPT piece of content. Always. And I'll amend it to sound more like my client, or I will make a note to them, like, ‘this sounds a bit not you. Can you rework?’

It's never going to sound like you. And that's the beauty of it. It's there for ideation. Yeah? It's there for ideas so that you can then go and tweak and implement.

So always, always, always go back in to what has been created. Read it back, read it out loud. Does it sound like me?

Every single piece of content that I create, every single piece of content, whether that's a sales page, a landing page, a piece of content on my Instagram account or a newsletter, I read out loud before I hit publish. Does this sound like me?

So recap.

Client win was very much based on what I have shared today, and it's available to you, it's available to us all.

  • So first of all, you are going to go down and customise your ChatGPT.

  • Then you're going to feed it a prompt, and you are going to create your thirty day plan.

  • You're going to edit that, whether you want to do it in a Google Doc or a spreadsheet, whatever works for you.

  • You're going to write up your captions, you're going to write out the copy, and then you are going to write down what you need to film.

  • You're gonna go away. You're gonna film it.

  • And then you bring it all together in Instagram.

Remember that Instagram loves you building those reels in Instagram. If you're doing it in a different app, and then bringing that polished version to upload to Instagram, it's not going to like it as much. We always edit our Reels directly into Instagram. And then hit publish.

Now, of course, the important bit.

Track your data.

Based on your objective, whether that is increasing engagement, building your numbers, building sales, or all three, make sure that you are month by month by month recording that data.

So how many sales did you make that month? What was your increase in engagement? and so forth.

If you're not tracking the data, you're not going to know the results that you're getting. And putting those efforts in, without tracking the result and knowing the result, means that it might feel like a wasted effort.

Make sure you're also tracking your data.

This particular client is continuing to see an increase in conversions and bookings, so we know it's working.

Now, what we're going to be doing, and another little secret sauce for you, is looking then at the month prior - what were the reels that got the most engagement and did she see the most bookings from?

We look at the language that was used, we look at the themes that we use. And then of course the next month, we make sure that we prioritise more of those in her content strategy.

This means that we know we're going to see an increased result because we know it's already working.

You know, Instagram is a great place for you to try new stuff out. I kind of have a rule that if it works on Instagram, it's going to work elsewhere.

I hope this has been helpful today. If you want to increase your content, optimise your content, do this one thing. Okay?
